What an incredible day it was at Stockham Park for the One Kingston Juneteenth event! The air was filled with positivity, community spirit, and a profound sense of unity as residents gathered to commemorate this important day. It was truly an uplifting experience that left everyone feeling inspired and connected.

The heart of the event was undoubtedly the powerful and inspiring speakers who shared their wisdom and passion. Their messages resonated deeply with attendees, fostering a sense of empowerment and encouraging dialogue about the significance of Juneteenth and its ongoing relevance in our lives. It was a beautiful testament to the strength and resilience within the Kingston community.
This successful event wouldn't have been possible without the dedication and hard work of several key individuals and organizations. A special shout-out and heartfelt thanks go to Brenda Holifield, Kingston Neighborhood President, and Eldridge Knighton, Todd Homes Resident Council President, for their vision and leadership in bringing this event to life. Their commitment to the community shines brightly.

We also extend our immense gratitude to Councilman JT Moore, Commissioner Scales, HABD, and Woodlawn United for their invaluable support and partnership. Their collaboration was instrumental in making the One Kingston Juneteenth celebration such a positive and impactful experience for all who attended.

The One Kingston Juneteenth event was more than just a commemoration; it was a vibrant demonstration of how a community can come together, uplift one another, and celebrate shared history and aspirations. We're already looking forward to seeing the continued positive impact of events like these on the fabric of our community.
